Let’s be honest. That Arkansas-Texas State game was a yawner. Let’s go ahead and be like coach Bret Bielema and every single one of his players and staff last week: forget about it.
Because this week, oh man, this week is not about to be dull.
No. 10 Texas A&M. No. 17 Arkansas. Jerry’s World. Showdown. The entire SEC slate is lining up to be a star-studded weekend, but for my money, the best game is in Texas. This week is going to be chock full of good stuff and hopefully some smack talk. *Fingers crossed*
Plus, there is this little baby.
Next Saturday Arkansas and Texas A&M will meet as unbeaten teams for the first time since 1927.

Me this week.
Watch out, world
Arkansas is coming.
Following the Razorbacks’ demolition of Texas State, 42-3, over the weekend, the team zoomed into the top 20 in both the Associated Press and Coaches Poll. It’s the highest the team has been ranked since the Bobby Petrino era.
Their opponent this week, Texas A&M, checks in 10th and 13th respectively. Arkansas is 17th (AP) and 18th (Coaches). Whoever wins in Jerry’s World in Arlington on Saturday is likely to crack the top 10. If it’s Arkansas, it will almost certainly leave Arkansas 5-0 ahead of a visit from Alabama in Week 6, as Arkansas plays FCS Alcorn State next week.
As for where it puts Arkansas in the SEC..
The image shows the AP poll on the left and the Coaches on the right. Arkansas checks in as the fourth highest ranked team in the former and seventh in the later.
This isn’t just me saying this, but, trust the AP poll. I’ve always found it a more correct representation. And if you’re still unsatisfied, might I recommend our Power Poll. I think you’ll like it.

Don’t look now – actually, do look. The Arkansas soccer team is straight rolling.
They’re officially off to the best start in school history at 9-1 and 2-0 in the SEC. A win over Florida on Friday night at home sent athletic director Jeff Long in the mud. Literally.

Arkansas picked up its first win over Florida in program history then beat Lipscomb on Sunday.
Yee-Haw! Today in Arkansas
Listen, we’ve all been in arguments with our significant other. They can get messy sometimes. Crying. Yelling. All that jazz. I can’t, myself, say, however, I’ve ever driven off with my wife on the hood of my car, like this cat did, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Police arrested a Little Rock man Saturday after he was accused of driving his girlfriend’s car at high speeds while she was on the hood of the vehicle.
It immediately reminded me of this from a couple years ago.
In all seriousness, hopefully everyone, especially the woman, is OK and the situation gets resolved.
