Arkansas added its seventh member of the 2017 recruiting class Saturday.
Shane Clenin, a three-star offensive tackle from Festus, Mo., announced via Twitter that he committed to Arkansas.
“After discussions with my family I have made a decision to continue my football career and education at the University of Arkansas,” Clenin tweeted. “I am blessed to have great teachers, friends, family and coaches who have guided me throughout my life. I couldn’t have reached this point without them.”
The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder is the No. 7 recruit in the state of Missouri and No. 83 offensive tackle in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports. He received an offer from Arkansas on April 1 and committed to the Razorbacks while visiting campus Saturday.
Clenin becomes the third offensive tackle to join Arkansas’ 2017 class, joining three-stars Kirby Adcock and Dwayne Fisher.
