Deatrich Wise Jr. made some money at the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday.
Representing the West team, the Arkansas defensive end had a game-high 8 tackles to go along with 1.5 sacks and 4 quarterback hurries.
Wise Jr. was one of nine Shrine Game players identified by NFL.com’s Mike Mayock that improved their draft stock on Saturday. Arkansas wide receiver Drew Morgan and offensive tackle Dan Skipper also participated in the contest.
Entering the East-West Shrine Game, the Razorbacks defender was viewed as the No. 20 defensive end in the prospect, according to CBS Sports. The website gives him a seventh-round projection.
We’ll see what Saturday’s game does for his draft stock.
Wise Jr. ended his Arkansas career with 112 tackles, 23 tackles for loss and 16.5 sacks. He collected 49 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in 2016.
