There are bad first days on the job, and then there’s this.
As Kurt Anderson was preparing to make his first in-home visit as Arkansas’ offensive line coach, he ripped his pants while getting out of the plane, according to ArkansasOnline.com’s Richard Davenport.
Anderson, who was on the trip alongside coach Bret Bielema and offensive coordinator Dan Enos, was forced to make a pit stop at a local store to purchase sweatpants before finally making the planned in-home visit to four-star offensive guard commit Jake Heinrich.
“I think they were jammed packed into that little private plane,” Heinrich said, via Davenport. “Sounds like he got a little too acrobatic. … The pants weren’t cooperating.”
Anderson was set to get acquainted with the Arkansas offensive line commit about two weeks after getting hired. Anderson was an assistant line coach for the Buffalo Bills under Rex Ryan.
We look forward to seeing if Anderson’s travel attire changes throughout the rest of January.
