Keon Hatcher recently underwent surgery after apparently re-injuring the foot he broke during the 2015 season, the senior receiver revealed on Snapchat, according to Andrew Hutchinson of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
Hatcher reportedly posted a photo of his left foot in a boot on Sunday followed by a video in which he said, “So, I had surgery on my foot.”
The receiver suffered a broken foot in the second game of the 2015 season against Toledo and underwent season-ending surgery to repair the injury. Hatcher received a medical redshirt from the NCAA and will return as a fifth-year senior in 2016.
As a junior in 2014, Hatcher caught 43 passes for 558 yards and six touchdowns, and he began his 2015 season with 13 receptions for 198 yards and two touchdowns before breaking his foot. He was healthy enough to participate fully in spring practices and had no problem impressing in a team dunk contest in December.
