Arkansas defensive backs coach Paul Rhoades said Thursday afternoon that defensive back Britto Tutt will miss the entire 2016 season with an ACL tear, according to SEC Country’s Trent Shadid and Jason Kersey.
Rhoades’ comments confirmed earlier reports that Tutt had suffered a significant knee injury.
Tutt is a newcomer to the Razorbacks, joining the team this season after playing at Ventura College in California in 2015. He had been competing for playing time in the Razorbacks defensive backfield this fall.
Arkansas learned earlier in the week that senior defensive back D.J. Dean has a hamstring injury, which could ultimately result in the use of a redshirt season.
