Chad Morris has reportedly added an assistant to his new staff at Arkansas.
According to Adam Grosbard of The Dallas Morning News, SMU interim coach Jeff Traylor will be leaving to take a position on Morris’ staff with the Razorbacks.

This report comes just hours after USA Today’s Dan Wolken reported that Traylor had “significant traction” to potentially become offensive coordinator at Missouri.
Traylor was in his first season at SMU. Prior to being named interim coach, he was serving as associate head coach and running backs coach.
Before coaching at SMU, Traylor spent two years at Texas coaching tight ends, wide receivers and special teams.
Morris, who is taking over for recently fired Bret Bielema, was officially announced as Arkansas’ new coach last week.
