Arkansas has lost a commitment.
On Tuesday afternoon, running back Jeremy Gibson announced that he was de-committing from Arkansas. The 5-foot-9, 189-pound talent is rated as a 3-star member of the Class of 2018. 247Sports’ national composite ranks Gibson, who’s from Reserve, La., as the No. 39 running back for his class and the No. 33 overall player for his class in the state of Louisiana.
Gibson made the announcement in a tweet. You can see his full message below.

Gibson committed to Arkansas on June 4, and he made an official visit to the school on Oct. 20. However, with the change from Bret Bielema to Chad Morris in Fayetteville, it appears Gibson has reconsidered his future. Per SEC Country’s Trent Shadid, Arkansas’ new staff was not recruiting Gibson.
Gibson chose Arkansas over Purdue, Texas Tech and Troy, among other schools.
