Hogs offer top-rated 2019 safety
Bishop Dunne Catholic School (Dallas, Texas) defensive back Brian Williams has received an offer from Arkansas. He made the announcement via Twitter on Saturday.
A 4-star prospect, Williams (6-foot, 185 pounds) is the No. 1 safety and No. 3 overall recruit in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. He is the younger brother of Hogs starting running back Rawleigh Williams III.

Brian Williams returned an interception 31 yards for a touchdown in Bishop Dunne’s season-opening 45-24 win over Deer Park (Texas) High School on Aug. 27. He reportedly holds offers from 13 FBS schools, including Auburn, Missouri, TCU, Texas A&M, UCLA and Southern Cal. Here are his highlights from the first game of his sophomore season:

Arkansas has now offered four prospects in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports.
Barnes scores game-winning TD
Arkansas 2017 athlete commit Jarrod Barnes scored the game-winning touchdown to lift Cabot (Ark.) High School to a 28-27 win over Pine Bluff (Ark.) High School on Friday.
Barnes (5-11, 167) took a direct snap for a designed quarterback sweep to the right and dove over defenders and into the end zone for the decisive score. He had 15 carries for 115 yards on the ground and was 8 for 11 passing with 113 yards through the air.

Barnes plays quarterback for Cabot and is projected to play wide receiver at Arkansas. He is a 3-star recruit and the No. 6 2017 prospect in Arkansas.
Barkley shines in big game
Arkansas 2017 wide receiver commit Maleek Barkley of Lake Travis High School (Austin, Texas) had 8 catches for 146 yards and a touchdown Friday against one of the top teams in Texas.
Barkley (5-11, 185) helped lead Class 6A No. 6 Lake Travis to a 59-56 double-overtime victory over 6A No. 5 Byron P. Steele II High School (Cibolo). He had an impressive 76-yard catch and run for a touchdown on a swing pass while lined up in the slot. His highlights from the game are here:
Hyatt plays only one quarter
Razorbacks 2017 quarterback commit Daulton Hyatt saw limited action for a second straight week with Etowah High School (Attalla, Ala.) cruising to another easy win Friday.
Hyatt (6-4, 182) completed 6 of his 12 passes for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns. He played only one quarter as Etowah defeated Douglas (Ala.) High School, 35-7. Here are his highlights from the game:
