Commit Hyatt named to Alabama all-star team
Arkansas 2017 quarterback commit Daulton Hyatt is one of the 40 high school players selected to represent Alabama in the 30th annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Game. The game is set for Dec. 10 at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala.
Hyatt (6-foot-4, 182 pounds), a 3-star prospect from Etowah High School (Attalla, Ala.), committed to the Hogs in March. He has completed 69 percent of his passes with 13 touchdowns and 4 interceptions through seven games this season. He’s also rushed for 282 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Tulsa prospects to visit for Alabama game
A pair of 2018 defensive back prospects from the Tulsa, Okla., area are planning to be in attendance when Arkansas takes on Alabama this Saturday at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Owasso High School’s Wayne Jones (6-0, 190) and Tulsa Union High School’s Patrick Fields (6-0, 190) are both expecting to be in Fayetteville this weekend.
Jones is a 3-star prospect and has yet to receive an offer from the Hogs but has received heavy interest from the program. His current reported offers are from Arkansas State, Illinois, New Mexico and Texas-San Antonio.
Fields also is a 3-star recruit that has received interest from the Hogs. He has reported offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Tulsa.
Calloway to join Bishop Dunne targets on visit
Bishop Dunne High School (Dallas, Texas) 2017 cornerback Chevin Calloway is also set to visit Arkansas for the Hogs’ matchup with the Crimson Tide.
Calloway (5-10, 180) plans to be in Fayetteville along with Bishop Dunne safety Brian Williams and wide receiver Marquez Beason. The Bishop Dunne trio are all 4-star prospects. Williams and Beason are 2019 recruits. Williams, the younger brother of Arkansas running back Rawleigh Williams III, hasn’t missed a Hogs game this season.
Calloway, who is committed to Iowa, is in a unique position with his Arkansas recruitment. He spoke highly of the Hogs in a recent interview with SEC Country, but the Hogs currently have three cornerbacks committed in the 2017 class. However, Calloway is a more highly touted recruit than any of the Razorbacks current commits at the position. He has an offer from the Hogs, so it’ll be interesting to see how things play out if he opts to reopen his recruitment.
