Arkansas also competing with A&M in recruiting Saturday
Rockwall (Texas) High School 4-star 2018 linebacker Alston Orji is planning to attend Arkansas’ clash with Texas A&M on Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The presence of Orji (6-foot-2, 214 pounds) gives Arkansas a battle on the field and in recruiting. The Hogs and Aggies are among the many teams competing to land Orji’s commitment. He is the No. 14 prospect in Texas and No. 4 inside linebacker in the class.
Arkansas was the first school to offer Orji last April. Texas A&M followed suit a week later.
Orji’s younger brother, Anfernee (6-1, 205), will also attend the game. Anfernee has drawn interest from several schools and is expected to be a highly touted linebacker or safety in the 2019 class.
Arkansas 2018 quarterback commit Connor Noland (6-2, 185) will also attend the game. Noland, who also committed to the Hogs’ baseball program as a right-handed pitcher, says he plans to talk to football and baseball recruits about looking into Arkansas.

Alston Orji highlights
Wallow commits to TCU
Arkansas 2017 safety target Garret Wallow announced his commitment to TCU on Monday night.
The John Curtis High School (New Orleans, La.) senior is a 3-star prospect. He holds offers from several other Power 5 conference schools, including Arkansas, Michigan and Nebraska.
Wallow (6-2, 207) visited Arkansas in the spring. He would’ve projected to play either safety or linebacker had he committed to the Razorbacks. However, the Hogs may have backed off Wallow as they quickly filled needs at those positions over the summer.
The Razorbacks currently have four defensive backs and two linebackers committed. There’s a chance they could add another at either position, but neither currently is a top priority.

Offers continue to roll in for 2019 target Williams
Razorbacks 2019 defensive back target Brian Williams from Bishop Dunne High School (Dallas, Texas) picked up an offer from LSU on Tuesday.
Williams (6-0, 185) was offered by Arkansas earlier this month. The younger brother of Hogs running back Rawleigh Williams III, Brian is a 4-star prospect. He is the No. 1 recruit in Texas and No. 3 nationally in the 2019 class. He now has 14 reported offers.
