Frank Ragnow has game in the weight room.
The Arkansas center was among the Razorbacks’ most consistent performers during the Hogs’ 7-6 season in 2016. He was named a first-team All-American by Pro Football Focus. There was even talk of him skipping his senior campaign to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft before he announced his intention to return.
Apparently, he’s not to be doubted with dumbbells.
Check out the cool clip below of Ragnow beating Arkansas strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert in a 125-pound dumbbell challenge. It’s a pretty epic showdown, and the celebration afterward is tremendous.

It’s fun to see Ragnow and others bonding in this way. When you beat your program’s strength and conditioning coach, you’ve definitely earned bragging rights when pumping iron.
It will be interesting to see how Ragnow’s strength translates to the field during his senior season. Another strong fall would help Arkansas’ cause on the offensive line and increase his draft stock in the process.
