ARLINGTON, Texas — Arkansas safety De’Andre Coley has been ejected from the Razorbacks’ game against Texas A&M for targeting.
Coley appeared to make helmet-to-helmet contact with Aggies wide receiver Speed Noil while trying to breakup a pass. The ejection for targeting was upheld after review. The hit was officially announced a “late hit with targeting,” meaning a 15-yard penalty would have been assessed for the hit being late regardless of the targeting being upheld.
The play came on a third down deep in Texas A&M territory. The Aggies continued the drive and kicked a field goal to tie the game at 10.
