Ever since Chad Morris was hired as Arkansas’ coach this offseason, he brought a little bit of an edge to the program.
That doesn’t appear to be ceasing anytime soon.
Morris made a grand entrance — to say the least — into Arkansas’ Signing Day event in Little Rock on Thursday night.

And he sticks the landing!
Morris’ entrance surely caused a scene as Razorbacks fans celebrated the incoming class, which brought in several talented players. Here’s how SEC Country’s Trent Shadid graded Chad Morris’ first class.
It’s not the only time Morris made a scene during the evening. He also took a phone call from a recruit on stage, prompting this Twitter exchange:

Gerald is the No. 1 JUCO defensive end in the Class of 2018.
The Razorbacks could use some help on the defensive front, as they failed to sign a blue chip (4- or 5-star) prospect at that position in this class. The only 4-star signees are quarterback Connor Noland and linebacker Bumper Pool.
The class only has 16 signees, causing it be ranked at the bottom of the SEC. That’s an unfortunate byproduct of making a coaching change a few weeks before the first early signing period.
But with Morris’ charisma, don’t expect the Razorbacks to be at the bottom of SEC recruiting for very long.
