Former Arkansas Razorback Andrew Benintendi had himself quite a day for the Boston Red Sox.
The rookie hit his first career home run against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday. Benintendi went yard in the seventh inning against the Tigers Shane Greene. Benintendi also had a triple earlier in the game. His triple came off former Cy Young winner Justin Verlander.

Benintendi was the No. 7 pick in the 2015 MLB Draft by the Red Sox. He was called up to the big leagues in August. In 18 games, Benintendi is hitting .328 with a .381 on base percentage. He’s also got nine RBI in addition to his home run.
