Three-star cornerback recruit Tavyn Jackson named his final eight, including three SEC schools, Monday.
The Tallahassee, Fla., native named Auburn, Mississippi State and South Carolina among his final eight as he narrowed down his recruiting search.

247Sports’ Crystal Ball prediction has Auburn as the early favorite for Jackson. In April, after the Tigers offered Jackson, Jackson told Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports that Auburn was his “dream school.” Jackson listed Mississippi State among his second tier of schools back then.
Things obviously can change. Florida was among his second-tier schools then and now the Gators are no longer in his top eight.
Jackson prefaced his tweet by saying his list is still subject to change. But Jackson also plans to enroll early. His recruiting will certainly pick up in the summer as he takes visits and comes to a decision earlier than most have to.
There is sure to be plenty of competition for his services.
