One of the nation’s top uncommitted prospects will not be announcing his commitment early next week, contrary to recent reports.
Antwuan Jackson, the 4-star defensive tackle from Cedar Grove High School, cited a miscommunication between him and his coach as to when he would be committing, according to 247Sports.com’s Keith Niebuhr.
The 6-foot-2, 285-pound prospect has reported 42 offers, but he conceded to the AJC’s Dawgnation.com last month that Auburn and Ohio State were his co-leaders, with UGA trailing right behind.
Jackson is rated as the No. 56 player in the country.
