Landon Rice is one step closer towards becoming an Auburn Tiger.
On Wednesday, the four-star tight end from Calhoun, Ga., signed his financial-aid agreement with the Tigers, his father, Joey, confirmed to SEC Country.
Signed financial aid papers bind the school to the prospect while a letter of intent binds the prospect to the school.
Rice, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound senior, has been committed to Auburn since November of 2013. Each of his reported unofficial visits, per 247Sports.com, have been to the Plains and his decision to sign his FAA on Wednesday only further solidifies his commitment to the program.
He is rated as the No. 8 tight end in the country.
