There’s no need to worry about 5-star offensive tackle Calvin Ashley.
SEC Country has learned Ashley will be ready for the start of fall camp on Monday after what sources described as “a minor procedure” this week.
The freshman posted a picture to SnapChat on Wednesday morning. In the image, Ashley’s right hand, hooked up to an IV in a hospital room, is clearly visible.
The Orlando, Fla., native, has made the most of his time on campus this summer, according to senior offensive lineman Braden Smith.
Herb Hand’s offensive line will play a critical role in Auburn’s offense under new coordinator Chip Lindsey this fall. Though Smith, senior Austin Golson and others offer valuable experience, Ashley is a talented newcomer who could have an impact quickly as a Tiger.
