AUBURN, Ala. — Bruce Pearl is doing things no one has ever done at Auburn on the recruiting trail.
The Tigers added yet another 4-star player Saturday with the commitment of forward Chuma Okeke, according to multiple reports. The commitment pushes Auburn to No. 1 in the national recruiting rankings, according to 247Sports’ Composite Recruiting Rankings for 2017.
The 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward out of Fairborn (Ga.) Westlake High School is ranked the No. 57 player in the country.
Auburn’s 2017 class now includes 5-star power forward Austin Wiley, 4-star point guard Davion Mitchell and Okeke. Each player is ranked among the top 60 players in the country.
