In some senses, Alabama and its fans have probably forgotten what it’s like to lose.
The Crimson Tide won every game this season before the National Championship and hadn’t lost since week 3 of the 2015 season against Ole Miss. Given that, we can’t be sure how Crimson Tide fans will react to last night’s last-second loss.
Auburn commit Alaric Williams, a 4-star athlete from Ashville, Ala., decided to have some fun with Alabama’s misery on Twitter early Tuesday morning, reminding Clemson fans to be wary of Alabama fans like Harvey Updyke, the infamous Toomer’s Corner tree poisoner after Alabama lost to Auburn in 2010.
Clemson campus be on the watch for Harvey Updyke! Never know what these bama fans might do ‼️

Updyke may not be the one to worry about, though, after a warrant was issued for his arrest last week for failing to show to a restitution hearing. Updyke served 76 days in jail for the incident following a guilty plea in 2013.
Williams is likely just having a little bit of fun with his soon-to-be top rival. The nation’s sixth-rated athlete and No. 8 player out of Alabama is sure to be reminded about this before rivalry week 2017, though.
