Auburn announces starting QB for Idaho game
Auburn has announced its starting quarterback for the Idaho game.
Junior Jeremy Johnson will start under center for the third consecutive game, according to multiple reporters at the game.
Johnson and freshman Sean White combined to pass for just 62 yards last week against UGA. Johnson will try to bounce back against Idaho, after completing 14-of-22 passes for 61 yards and an interception in the 20-13 loss to the Bulldogs.
White is still wearing a brace on his injured left knee. Senior Jonathan Wallace took the backup quarterback snaps in pregame warmups, according to the Montgomery Advertiser’s Matthew Stevens.
Auburn will also have two new starters on the offensive line.
Junior Robert Leff will start at left tackle in place of the injured Shon Coleman, per AL.com’s Brandon Marcello. Senior Devonte Danzey will start in place of Austin Golson, who injured his right knee against Georgia.
