Apple is known for the sleek design of its products throughout the technology industry. While Auburn’s offense might not be as complex as some of its machines, the company still has a famous alumnus at the top.
Apple CEO Tim Cook is an Auburn graduate (Class of ’82). Naturally, while showcasing the voice command function of Siri on the new MacBook Pro, the company used highlights from the Auburn blowout of Arkansas last weekend.
The play shown is Auburn’s last touchdown in the fourth quarter, a 51-yard touchdown run to make it 56-3 for the Tigers. Almost as if Cook planned it just to rub it in a little more.
If only scoring a touchdown was as easy as giving a voice command. Though Apple knows how to appeal to the Saturday lover in all of us. As if they weren’t lazy enough already on the couch watching football, it looks like you won’t even have to touch the remote soon.
