Auburn alumna Ashley Ward got redemption after having one of the most embarrassing moments of the 2016 college football season.
Ward was the photographer who got hit in the face by a kickoff during the Auburn-LSU game. The clip went viral, and Ward took all the attention well. On Tuesday, noted Lane Kiffin impersonator Daniel Tosh had her on his show for a chance at “web redemption.”
In a somewhat NSFW segment, Ward got to take some shots at rival Alabama. She had a great response when Tosh asked how she felt about Alabama fan Harvey Updyke poisoning the trees at Toomer’s Corner.
“I mean, Bama sucks,” she said. “Bammers are Bammers.”

Ward also told the story of why she was trying to catch the kickoff in the first place.
“I made a bet with the managers on the football team that I’d be able to catch the ball,” she said. “The kicker for Auburn (Daniel Carlson) kicks it to the same spot, every time. So I sat there and waited for it.”
The shot Ward took was just one of the highlights for Auburn that day. Auburn won 18-13 when an apparent last-second LSU touchdown pass was overturned after review.
