Conor Davis picked the perfect time to hit his first career home run for Auburn baseball.
The freshman infielder hit a 3-run, 2-out walk-off home run on Sunday afternoon to give No. 17 Auburn baseball a 5-4 win over No. 6 South Carolina. The comeback victory clinched the weekend series for the Tigers, who haven’t lost a series yet in the 2017 season.

Davis’ walk-off home run was Auburn’s first since the opening day of the 2013 season. The Tigers are now 23-7 with a 7-2 record in SEC play.
And, as is tradition in baseball, the freshman Davis received a good amount of shaving cream from his teammates after his last-out heroics:
