Chuma Okeke rounded out Auburn’s early-signing period as the third top-60 prospect in the 2017 class.
Okeke is a 6-foot-7, 225-pound small forward from Westlake HS (Ga.) — the same high school that gave Cam Newton to Auburn. Okeke is the lowest-ranked recruit of the bunch, but he’s still highly-touted nationwide. Okeke is the 8th-ranked layer in the state of Georgia and the 56th overall prospect in the country.
He chose Auburn over Kansas, Florida State and Georgia on July 24. He completed the process Wednesday by officially signing with the Tigers.
“One of the most productive, hard-working unselfish players in the country,” Bruce Pearl tweeted. “He comes from a great family, and he represents them well.”
