Auburn had to deal with multiple injuries on offense in its loss to Mississippi State on Saturday. But the Tigers should get healthier as a team this week.
Running back Roc Thomas sustained a leg injury in the third quarter of Saturday’s game, but coach Gus Malzahn said he is expected to play against San Jose State.
Wide receiver Ricardo Louis appeared to be playing through an injury, but Malzahn said Louis was only dealing with “minor issues” and the team hoped to have him healthy soon.
Running back Jovon Robinson is also dealing what Malzahn called a lingering ankle injury. He has played sparingly over the first four games.
The Tigers will need all of their offensive weapons healthy if they want to bounce back from a 2-2 start to the season.
Auburn will play its third non-conference game against San Jose State at home on Saturday.
Gus says Roc Thomas will be ready to go this week.
