Kyle Davis, the consensus No. 1 receiver in this year’s class, tweeted out earlier this morning that he had committed to Auburn over UGA and Tennessee — and members of the Tigers’ coaching staff voiced their approval through social media.
That would be offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee and receivers coach Dameyune Craig, both of whom played a part in Davis’ recruitment.

Davis becomes Auburn’s 16th commitment for the Class of 2016. The senior is now considered the second-highest rated commitment on the Auburn board. The one-time Gamecocks commit has recorded 47 catches for 773 yards and six touchdowns through 12 games this fall.
