David Marshall’s recruitment has been convoluted in recent months.
The three-star defensive end de-committed from the Tigers back in June, named Ole Miss his leader shortly thereafter and wound up re-committing to Auburn in October.
And just when his recruitment appeared over, Georgia began showing late interest. It was enough for Marshall to visit Athens on back-to-back weekends before signing day, and it was enough to sway the Thomaston, Ga., native in the end.
On Wednesday, Marshall announced his decision to flip to Georgia during a ceremony at Upson-Lee High School.
With his decision, Auburn is now down to two defensive linemen.
