Auburn freshman defensive back Jeremiah Dinson had to be carted off the field after he sustained a gruesome leg injury in Auburn’s win over Texas A&M Saturday. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn updated his status on Monday night.
“We won’t have him back this year,” Malzahn said on his radio show.
Dinson injured his right leg on a blindside block by Texas A&M wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones. Seals-Jones was flagged for targeting on the play, but it was reversed after a replay review.
