Auburn DE Carl Lawson to return for 2016 season
It appears Auburn will get one of its best pass rushers back for the 2016 season.
Auburn defensive end Carl Lawson creatively announced that he will not enter the 2016 NFL Draft and return for his junior season in a tweet.

The photos above are from a scene in the movie “Wolf of Wall Street,” where Leonardo Dicaprio’s character (Jordan Belfort) announced to his employees that he intends to come back to work after initially going to the stage with intentions of stepping down.
Lawson’s language in the tweet is a lot less colorful than Dicaprio’s, but Auburn fans should be happy Lawson is returning. His career has been ravaged by injuries, including an ACL injury that kept him out of the 2014 season and a hip injury that forced him to miss six games this season.
Still, Lawson managed to return for the final six games of the season and finished with 17 tackles, three for a loss, a sack and 11 quarterback hurries. He had four sacks and 20 tackles in his freshman season.
The defensive end will get another opportunity to add to those stats next season under new defensive coordinator Kevin Steele.
