AUBURN, Ala. — All-SEC cornerback Carlton Davis did not participate in Auburn’s spring game because of a finger injury.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn called it a “finger issue,” but said it was not a big deal and that Davis is expected to heal. He suffered the injury Thursday.
“We just wanted to be safe,” Malzahn said. “It was nothing major. He’s had an outstanding spring and he’s going to be fine.”
Davis was named a member of the freshman All-SEC team last season, when he led the Tigers with three interceptions.
