Auburn football: Seeing both sides at quarterback, getting to know another Jackson
Welcome to SEC Country’s daily War Eagle Wakeup, a rundown of everything happening in Auburn football and Auburn Tigers athletics with Lauren Shute. Today, we discuss the importance of balanced expectations and a legacy prospect becomes a Tiger.
Spring semester went well for most Auburn student-athletes, but it was especially great for 72.
That’s how many earned spots on the 2017 Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll, according to a release on the Auburn Athletics website.
To make the cut, athletes had to have a GPA of 3.00 in the preceding academic year or a cumulative GPA above 3.00 (which is not an easy thing to do with so much time dedicated to athletics).

Think Jarrett Stidham is the answer to the Tigers’ offensive woes? He might be, but Ferguson cautions: “As great as Stidham looked during spring practices, he still hasn’t taken a snap at Auburn. The former 5-star quarterback only made three starts at Baylor…”
