Auburn has approved plans to renovate suites on the east side of Jordan-Hare Stadium.
That’s according to a report from OANow.com’s Scott Fields, who wrote the Auburn University board of trustees approved the changes on Friday morning.
Per the report, the renovation will happen in two phases.
In Phase 1, the project will “provide new operable windows and fans to allow better access to the sounds and general atmosphere of the game,” according to the proposal document obtained by OANow.com.
Phase 1 is expected to be completed prior to the start of the 2019 season, per the report.
The second phase will consist of standard renovations and upgrades.
This will be the first major renovation since Allen Greene took over as Auburn’s athletic director. Longtime athletic director Jay Jacobs announced his resignation in November 2017 amid several athletics controversies.
