AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn football returns to the practice field Wednesday for Sugar Bowl preparation — and it looks like freshman wide receiver Kyle Davis is ready.
Davis tweeted a slow-mo video of him pulling off an impressive one-handed catch Tuesday evening. In the clip, Davis leaps high, grabs the ball at the top of his jump and keeps it in the hand all the way down:

Davis showed off his hops and his knack for one-handed grabs in his second game at Auburn. The true freshman wide receiver from Georgia scaled over two Arkansas State defenders to make a spectacular, Odell Beckham-like reception:

Davis recorded 11 catches for 235 yards and 2 TDs during the regular season. His 21.36 yards per reception was by far the best mark for the Tigers among receivers.
Davis’ highlight-reel catch radius should be a welcome sight for new teammate Jarrett Stidham when he arrives on the Plains for practices.
