Auburn tight end Jalen Harris is doing “ok” after he was involved in a serious car accident on Sunday night.
“That was a pretty scary deal,” Auburn coach Gus Malzahn told AL.com’s James Crepea. “We’re very, very happy. It could have been a scary deal with the accident but it looks like he’ll be OK.”
The freshman tight end posted a photo of the mangled vehicle involved in the accident on Instagram Sunday night with the caption:
“I’m blessed that’s one thing that I know. Angles (sic) watching over me everywhere that I go.”
“Ride around I got Jesus all on my chain. How’d I get this far, I know the Lord He made a way.” Thanks for all the calls and prayers everyone it means so much to me.
Harris is a Montogomery, Ala. native and he has played in four games for the Tigers this season.
“He’s [Harris] doing well,” Malzahn said on his radio show Monday night. “If you look at his car it’s definitely a blessing.”
Prayers out to my roommate/brother @jharris334 blessed to be living bro ??????
