WATCH: Auburn interception deflected off of Ole Miss receiver’s facemask
Auburn has finally gotten the ball to bounce its way. Tigers senior defensive back Blake Countess corralled a wacky interception that caromed off of Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram’s facemask during the first half of Saturday’s contest.

This was an important interception for the Tigers. Ole Miss had staged a 10-play, 46-yard drive up until that point and was poised to get on the scoreboard and take the lead late in the first half.
The Tigers and Rebels are tied at 10 at halftime. Auburn quarterback Sean White has played well even though he has not been 100 percent healthy. The Tigers have also utilized a rotation at the quarterback position that has featured former starter Jeremy Johnson and tailback Kerryon Johnson in the “wildcat” package.
