Marshall Taylor was expected to take three visits before making a decision on where he would play football next season.
Taylor, a graduate transfer from Miami (Ohio) spent one weekend at Auburn and decided he was done looking around. He committed to play for the Tigers in 2016 on Sunday, which was first reported by Jeffrey Lee of AuburnSports.com.
A defensive back listed at 6-foot-2 and 199 pounds, Taylor had 39 tackles and two interceptions in 11 games last season for Miami (Ohio). He became the second grad transfer to commit to the Tigers, joining former Illinois linebacker T.J. Neal.
Taylor was scheduled to visit Michigan State and SEC rival Florida in the next two weekends, but Talyor told Lee, “I’m done. I’m an Auburn Tiger.”
