Auburn already has a jump start on the 2018 recruiting cycle.
On Tuesday, Miami defensive end Robert Hicks announced his commitment to the Tigers. Hicks joins prized quarterback Joey Gatewood as the second prospect to commit to the program for 2018.
“I chose Auburn because it was always a dream school,” Hicks told SEC Country. “I love everything about the program and the coaches. I always wanted to be a War Eagle.”
The 6-foot-2, 220-pound rising junior spurned Miami and Oregon State in the process. Hicks, a standout at Booker T. Washington, was offered by Auburn on Feb. 18.
