Auburn bolstered its frontcourt on Monday.
Graduate transfer forward LaRon Smith, a 6-foot-8 forward, committed to Auburn Monday afternoon, announcing his decision on Instagram.
Don't go to high, you won't play You only have one year, go somewhere you will be the man You can't win a championship there They're not good, don't go there That school already is loaded with bigs You're going to be a back up Some of the things "They" said to me on this journey to find my new home. This is what "I" have to say…#WarDamnEagle
Smith averaged seven points and three blocks last season with Bethune Cookman and was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He is the third graduate transfer to join Auburn this offseason, joining guard Ronnie Johnson and forward DeSean Murray as Auburn’s 2016 grad transfers.
