We all say things we don’t mean. And in the case of Auburn linebacker T.J. Neal, that day came early in his Tigers football career.
Following a frustrating 19-13 loss to Clemson on Saturday night, Neal took to Twitter to complain about coaching and playing time. Neal has since deleted those tweets, and the remorse for letting his frustrations go public is now evident.
The graduate transfer from Illinois got back on Twitter on Sunday afternoon to apologize for his rant.
