Auburn is likely headed to three of its top recruiting hotspots when the SEC’s ban on satellite camps ends in May.
The Tigers will look to hold satellite camps in Atlanta, Tampa and Miami, a person familiar with the process tells SEC Country. In Tampa, Auburn has been in talks to set up camp at Tampa Catholic High School, where the Tigers’ No. 1 wide receiver in the Class of 2016 — four-star Nate Craig-Myers — went to school.
Auburn is not expected to partner with another college program on these camps, though that could change. An official announcement on sites and dates is expected to be released next week.
The NCAA on Thursday lifted the ban on satellite camps. Auburn will be able to participate in summer camps starting on May 29 after the SEC approved them during the conference’s 2015 spring meetings.
