ATLANTA — Three weeks removed from blowing out Georgia, Auburn received some redemption in a big way.
The Bulldogs cruised to a 28-7 victory over the Tigers in the SEC Championship Game. It was a brutal way to go out for Auburn after being one of the most inspired teams in college football in November. A combination of injuries and turnovers made it nearly impossible for the Tigers to over come.
Jarret Stidham and Kerryon Johnson both lost fumbles. Johnson, Carlton Davis and Tre Williams all battled injuries, with the latter two sitting out the entire entire second half, which assisted the second-half rout.
It was an emotion-filled contest. Check out SEC Country’s top photos from the game.
