Auburn (5-4, 2-4 SEC) has decided on a starting quarterback for a pivotal rivalry game against UGA (6-3, 4-3).
Junior Jeremy Johnson will start in place of freshman Sean White for the second consecutive game.
Johnson completed 13-of-17 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown in Auburn’s 26-10 win over Texas A&M last Saturday.
Both quarterbacks were seen warming up before the game. White’s left knee is in a brace.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said earlier in the week that both quarterbacks could play if White was healthy enough.
