Last weekend was a big one for Auburn softball. The Tigers knocked off Tennessee at Jane B. Moore Field and senior pitcher Kaylee Carlson earned her 63rd victory to become the program’s all-time leader in wins.
The series victory against the Vols was the fourth straight SEC series win, but it’s time for coach Mickey Dean’s team to pick up and go for its fifth series triumph at Missouri.
The two Tigers teams have only played 13 times, but Auburn holds a one-game advantage in the overall series (7-6). Auburn came out victorious when the two teams last met in April 2017 at Jane B. Moore Field. Auburn, however, has struggled big in Columbia and trails Missouri 5-3.
