Auburn safety Tray Matthews makes decision on NFL Draft
Auburn did get some good news after the Tigers lost to Oklahoma on Monday in the Sugar Bowl.
Safety Tray Matthews announced he would be coming back to Auburn for the 2017 season, according to SEC Country’s Lauren Shute. Matthews began his career at Georgia but transferred to Auburn after he was dismissed from the program.

Auburn will lose defensive backs Josh Holsey and Rudy Ford to graduation, so Matthews staying will likely help soften the blow.
Matthews finished the season with 73 tackles and an interception.
The Tigers lost 35-19 against the Sooners. Auburn was dealt a tough blow when quarterback Sean White exited the game in the first half after reportedly breaking his forearm.
