AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn coach Gus Malzahn is headed to the Masters, again.
Malzahn plans to visit Augusta National to watch the final round of the Masters on Sunday, according to Augusta.com.
Malzahn played Augusta National in 2013 and his best score at the legendary course is 82, per the report.
Auburn’s annual A-Day scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m. CT inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tigers will return to clean up mistakes and conduct a final practice Tuesday on the Auburn campus. In the meantime, Malzahn will squeeze in a trip to the golf course.
“You better believe I’ll be there Sunday,” he told Augusta.com. “No chance I’m missing Sunday at Augusta.”
If he’s still around, Malzahn will certainly follow former PGA Tour champion Jason Dufner, an Auburn alum.
