Jarrett Stidham has taken his spot as Auburn’s starting quarterback, but in the event of an injury, Sean White could play a big role for the Tigers this season.
First, he’ll have to get out of coach Gus Malzahn’s doghouse, as White was arrested early Sunday for public intoxication, according to Al.com.
According to the report, White was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on Ross Street in Auburn and was held on a $500 bond. The punishment for public intoxication typically involves a fine.
White recently returned from a two-game suspension, though reasons for that discipline weren’t made public. Regardless, even if White was in good standing with the program, this is a bad look for a guy who should be in a leadership position for the program.
