BREAKING: Auburn QB Sean White arrested

Joe Clarkin

Jarrett Stidham has taken his spot as Auburn’s starting quarterback, but in the event of an injury, Sean White could play a big role for the Tigers this season.

First, he’ll have to get out of coach Gus Malzahn’s doghouse, as White was arrested early Sunday for public intoxication,¬†according to Al.com.

According to the report, White was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on Ross Street in Auburn and was held on a $500 bond. The punishment for public intoxication typically involves a fine.

White recently returned from a two-game suspension, though reasons for that discipline weren’t made public. Regardless, even if White was in good standing with the program, this is a bad look for a guy who should be in a leadership position for the program.
