AUBURN, Ala. — Calvin Ashley doubled down on his recruitment comment from last week: The 5-star offensive lineman is going to Auburn.
On Tuesday night, Ashley reaffirmed a stance he made last week. He will take no more visits or flirt with other schools. This came a few days after he announced he was “110 percent committed” to the Tigers. All of this was amid rumors of a potential flip to Maryland. Even Auburn had shown some concern with the potential outcome.
It seems all of those concerns have been officially put to rest:
No more visits. No more entertaining other schools. Time to get ready for Auburn! #WDE

Ashley will still take his official visit to Auburn on Jan. 20, potentially with a teammate from St. John’s College High (Washington, D.C.). Another teammate, Tyree Johnson, has said he plans to take an official visit to Auburn on Jan. 28.
Ashley is the only 5-star prospect in the class. As such, he is Auburn’s highest-rated commitment. He has been committed since June 2015, but his absence from Auburn for quite some time raised some interest.
He, too, is ready to return to the Plains.
“I just want to get back to my place,” Ashley said at the Under Armour All-America Game earlier this month. “I want to get back to Auburn and have fun, hang around. Just get used to the place again since I moved 13 hours away. I just want to renew everything.”
