Charles Barkley is showing a nice gesture by donating to both recent hurricane and Las Vegas Victim funds.
The former NBA Hall of Famer says that he is donating $100,000 dollars to areas that were affected by Hurricane Harvey, Irma, and Maria, in which parts of Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands were devastated by the natural disasters.
The former Auburn star says that he will also donate $25,000 to the Las Vegas Victims Fund, to help those that were involved in the shooting massacre in Las Vegas recently.
“I just want to help people; I think it’ the right thing to do,” he said on Monday. “I was waiting to assess the full impact of the hurricanes and then Las Vegas happened.”
Barkley isn’t a stranger to helping charities or relief victims. In the past, the current broadcaster has donated $4,000,000 dollars to the Wounded Warrior Project and his alma mater, along to other universities.
